How this number is built

Every 15 minutes we read every public Final Fantasy XIV gil listing on Eldorado.gg and price each server separately, across the JP, NA, EU and OC regions.

  • In-game trade only (face to face or via a mannequin) — almost every listing.
  • Each server’s price is the blended cost of buying 500M gil (minimum order 50M or less), from established sellers, no one seller more than a quarter.
  • Placeholder prices are ignored: offers at more than three times their market’s median.
  • The headline is the median server in each region, counted by trusted offers. A handful of large sellers list every server, so most of a region prices alike.

Tracking began Oct 6, 2026 (method 1.0). Methods are fixed once published, and every raw poll is archived, and each server keeps a daily history.
