How this number is built
Every 15 minutes we read every public Donut SMP money listing on Eldorado.gg, keep only offers a normal buyer could actually use, and price what it costs to buy 10B down the cheapest of them.
- In-game trade only. Other delivery methods are different products and price differently; “delivery” by handing over an account login is not a currency purchase at all.
- Offers with a minimum purchase above
1Bare thrown out. The cheapest sticker price almost always comes with a 3.5B–100B minimum, usually from an account with little feedback. Asking for a big payment before the buyer has anything to go on is a well-worn scam set-up, so those listings are excluded rather than treated as the going rate. - Established sellers only: at least 50 ratings and a 98% score.
- Depth, not the cheapest sticker. The rate is the blended cost of buying 10B straight down the book. The cheapest qualifying seller often holds under 0.5B, so their price is real but can’t be bought at size.
- No fill, no point. If the filtered offers can’t cover 10B, nothing is recorded. A gap is honest; a point made from scraps would look like a real move later.
Method history
- 1.0 · Aug 24 – Sep 29, 2026. Read only the first page of listings (150 offers). From about Sep 8 the market regularly held more than that, so some offers were missed.
- Not tracked · Sep 29 – Oct 6, 2026. Shown as a break in the line, not bridged.
- 1.1 · from Oct 6, 2026. Identical, but reads every page. On the latest poll the old first-page method reads $9.95, 0.00% from the full-book rate.
The method is fixed: changing it would make points before and after incomparable. Every raw poll is archived, so a different method can be back-computed over real history.
