How this number is built

Derived from public marketplace listings, filtered to offers a normal buyer could actually transact against, then depth-weighted rather than taken from the cheapest sticker.

The methodology is fixed — changing it would make points before and after incomparable — but every raw poll is archived, so a different method can be back-computed over real history.
